All Edison students have the opportunity to earn an Associate Degree or college credits from Middlesex College by enrolling in specific courses offered at Edison High School or John P. Stevens High School. Students will learn and engage in college-level coursework in the familiar environment of our Edison high schools. With successful completion of the coursework, students have the opportunity to earn an Associate Degree or college credits toward a degree - - a great way to begin the college experience!
Students may take the dual-enrollment course for high school credit only.
Students may pay the course tuition and receive both high school and college credit.
In New Jersey, by law, public colleges are required to accept associate degrees for related programs. Most colleges across the country may accept up to sixty transfer credits. All colleges reserve the right to accept dual enrollment college credits. If a student plans to attend a four-year university, it is strongly recommended that the student contacts the university of intent to inquire about dual credit courses that will be considered for acceptance.
